Cross Country’s founder Leo Johnston shares his own testimony as a man who has learned of God’s love, mercy and healing powers through extraordinary life experiences. For the past several years Johnston has worked to forge the way for Christian country bands who offer excellent music and quality performances.
Danny Ray Harris
Danny was born in a small town in Pineville, Kentucky. Danny’s love for music began at an early age and after dedicating his life to Jesus as a child, he never got too far away from God.
From night clubs to Music contests, Danny followed the music through his teen years. In 2001, he came to a place in his life and realized his struggles were due to not giving God complete control. With guidance from God and the support of family, friends and fans Danny accepted the call into Ministry.
Since that time Danny has been singing across the country and has recorded 3 projects. He was recognized as the ICM New Artist of the Year in 2008; and the CCHA Male Vocalist of the Year in 2010 and 2011. A song off his most recent project, Legacy, was released to radio in Spring of 2011.
Daniel Alan
Daniel Alan was born in the deep south near the Alabama Bayou. Making music was a major part of his life from a very early age. He loves inspirational country and is one of the pioneers of this unique brand of country music.
Daniel Alan is the President and founder of the Freedom and Family Music Tour. He is also a founding member of the “Last Light Band” from Mobile, Alabama a seasoned band of musicians and singers that have been making music together since the early 80's.
The ICM Association nominated Daniel Alan for the Living Legend/Pioneer award in 2007 and 2008. In 2010 he won this lifetime achievement living legend/pioneer award. This is one of the ICM associations highest honors. Other ICM members that have received this award include: The Fox Brothers, Johnny Cash, Marty Raybon, Dennis Agajanian, Delway, Dottie Rambo, The Oakridge Boys, etc...
Barry McGee
Barry Magee was awarded Comedian of the Year for 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009; and ICGMA's Comedian of the Year for 2011. He is marketed as "A Character for Christ", providing Family Friendly Entertainment and Ministry.
He is Ordained and/or credentialed with: Motor Racing Outreach, Racers for Christ, National Fellowship of Raceway Ministries and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. One of Barry's most loved characters is Harvey Tater and he brings an element to the show that is often a crowd favorite.
Tanya Madison
Tanya is a small girl with a big voice, and proves to be a huge crowd pleaser wherever she goes. She began working with Audio Outreach in 2006, and has never failed to deliver.
Tanya emerged from the southernmost regions of Alabama with a style that ranges from pure country to Bayou Blues. She has been a great addition to the team and we encourage you not to miss an opportunity to hear what she brings to any show she’s a part of.
